The Challenge
Delivering a multi-discipline building envelope package within a heritage commercial building in one of London's most prominent architectural districts. As a full refurbishment, every stage brought unforeseen conditions — demanding immediate design responses without disrupting the programme.

Our Solution
Roytec carried out a comprehensive 3D site survey of the existing structure before design, allowing our team to anticipate clashes and adapt in real time. We designed, supplied and installed bespoke aluminium cladding panels, a Jansen Janisol entrance door system with automated lobby doors, fire exit doors, internal glass balustrades and a U-shape lightwell — all coordinated under a single contract.

The Key Benefit
Rather than the main contractor coordinating multiple specialist subcontractors for each element, Roytec handled every piece under one roof. One point of contact, one design team, one programme, one responsibility — eliminating interface risk between trades and keeping the project moving without coordination gaps.

The Outcome
A seamlessly integrated building envelope that honours the heritage character of Curtain Road while meeting modern commercial performance standards — delivered on programme, proving a single capable subcontractor can manage the full scope more efficiently than fragmented packages.
